Now this is a story I can get behind! The Washington Post has released an article featuring the DC area's 10 Best Pizzas!! A few highlights for me are the cheese pizza at Vace, which has been on Connecticut Avenue across the street from The Uptown Theater forever. They have another location in Bethesda as well. Another favorite pizzeria is Frankly...Pizza! in Kensington, MD. They make delicious brick oven pizza with fresh and quality ingredients, and their featured pizza is the Spinach Pizza. However, one of my favorite pizzas, which I just recently discovered, is the "Picca" from Pizza CS in Rockville, MD. This pizza has mozzarella, ricotta, soppressata . Calabrian Chili, Piennolo Tomato, Basil and a White Balsamic Glaze. It is nice and spicy and not for anyone who doesn't like spicy food.
