Excess Coffee Consumption Linked to Increase in Hereditary Diseases

My fellow coffee lovers, you may want to take a peek at this recent study before you reach for that 6th or 7th cup. Turns out, there is a link to excess coffee consumption and an increased risk of developing osteoarthritis, arthropathy or joint disease, and obesity. However, it's not an increased risk for everyone, only those who are predisposed to suffer from any of these disease, meaning, those who have a genetic link to any of them. I love my coffee in the morning and go between two and three cups, sometimes another one or two in the afternoon. It sounds like a lot, but six cups of coffee adds up quick.
