Two Huge Transformers Statues Center of Controversy in Georgetown

It's certainly not something you see everyday, and the last place you'd think to see these huge statues of Transformers is in a high price retail neighborhood like Georgetown. A local resident is at a stand off with the Georgetown Advisory Neighborhood who want the statues taken down immediately. The resident has requested to keep Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee in front of his $4 million home on Prospect Street, NW. Unfortunately, the resident didn't seek permission from the neighborhood before erecting the gigantic statues so they are claiming that is the reason he can't keep them in front of his house. I would be hard pressed to see them approve them even if he had gone through the proper channels. We'll see how this one plays out. Look at the pics of these statues! They are massive!
