I don't know about you, but I'm over cheering for the "Washington Football Team". I agree that we needed a new name, but it's long overdue for DC's football team to have a proper name... maybe even a mascot if called for. Today season ticket holders were sent an email including 37 narrowed down team names submitted by the public. Some of these include "Demon Cats", "Pilots" and yes, the popular "Red Wolves". Check out the full list below. What are some of your favorites?? I like "Red Wolves", even "Wild Hogs" (although I think we could have just been "The Hogs") but some of these seem silly. "Demon Cats"?? Really???
