There were a number of individuals who worked remotely before the pandemic, but that number has greatly increased since March of 2020. The flexibility of remote work and record low interest rates contribute to the desire for a second home. This Travel & Leisure article was just released today (10/12/21) highlighting 8 of the best small towns across the nation to purchase a second home. A couple are in Florida, one in Michigan and one from Hawaii made the list as well, which seems like a no-brainer to me.
