Places to Donate That Leftover Halloween Candy

The rain on Halloween definitely kept the Trick or Treaters at bay. We have a really busy neighborhood, with a lot of little ones running from house to house on Halloween looking for candy, but with the rain last night we had a considerable amount less ringing the doorbell.

Most people want to know where they can unload all that extra candy so it doesn't end up in the trash or in their bellies. Fortunately there are a number of organizations that will accept the candy and put it to good use.

From sending that candy to soldiers, to dentists buying it back and trading it in for a toothbrush, you can find links to site and local drop off locations in the article below.
