RECIPE: Chilli Makes Chocolate Hummus!

We were talking about weird food combinations on the air today. I brought Toby some of my homemade chocolate hummus. Yes...it sounds gross. Chocolate and chick peas??? Trust me, it's delicious. 

They sell versions of this in grocery stores (you may have seen them at made a gagging sound). They're pretty expensive for a small container. I decided to make my own...and now I take this to parties and serve it with either graham crackers, pretzels or fruit.

Not only is this YUMMY...but it's super EASY to make. All you need is a five ingredients and a food processor. 

Chilli's Chocolate Hummus Recipe

1 Can GOYA Chick Peas (I prefer this brand for smoother texture). DRAIN and rinse.

1/2 Cup dark cocoa powder

1/2 Cup sugar (or your favorite sugar substitute for "skinny" version)

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

3 Tablespoon Sunflower Oil

3 Tablespoon Water

**optional pinch of salt**


Put all ingredients in a food processor and blend together until smooth. You can add more water if it's too thick. That's it. Enjoy!
