Starbucks is adding a new drink to their permanent menu and it sounds like it will be the perfect antidote to the hot days of summer.
Starting today, you can get your hands on the Serious Strawberry Frappuccino, which consists of strawberry puree and the Strawberries and Crème Frappuccino base, which contains ice, milk and the store’s "strawberry infusion blend.” If that wasn’t enough strawberry, it’s then topped with strawberry puree and vanilla whipped cream.
While this definitely sounds delicious, and you may think it’s healthy thanks to all that fruit, having too many of them may not be great for your waistline. A 16-ounce version will set you back 350 calories, 14 grans of fat and 50 grams of sugar.
The Serious Strawberry Frap is the third new permanent item Starbucks as added this year, following the Ultra Caramel Frappuccino and the Triple Mocha Frappuccino, which were put on the menu last month.
ONE MORE THING!
The Serious Strawberry Frap isn’t the only addition coming to Starbucks’ menus today. In the food area, they are adding the Chicken Chorizo & Tortilla Sous Vide Egg Bites and the Kitchen Sink Cookie, made with pecans, pretzels, marshmallows and chocolate chunks. Yum!!!
