Video From George Clooney's Accident

George Clooney was involved in a wreck in Italy. To review, he got knocked off his scooter while traveling to film the limited series, “Catch-22.” Now there is video from the accident. 

Footage from a fixed security camera showed a blue Mercedes veering into oncoming traffic in an attempt to turn into a residential compound. George’s scooter crashed into the car while another bike beside him managed to go around it.

Witnesses say he was thrown over the front of his bike and up in the air before landing on the asphalt. The car’s driver and other witnesses come to help, and fortunately only suffered a slight trauma to his pelvis and bruises on one arm and leg. 

Meanwhile, “Catch-22,” the series Clooney was filming is based on Joseph Heller’s classic 1961 novel is set to air on Hulu in 2019. Since his injuries were minor, production – which was wrapping up in Sardinia this week and moving to Rome – will continue as planned.
