A pastry chef in New York City has unveiled a very special ice cream sundae, the “Bear Extraordinaire,” which can be yours for the low, low price of $1,500. No joke.
The Bear Extraordinaire, available at the Baccarat Hotel in Manhattan, features imported vanilla beans from Madagascar for the ice cream, a hand-painted white chocolate shell with colored cocoa butter, three grams of black truffle and Valrhona Gold cocoa nibs, all drizzled in a hibiscus champagne sauce and adorned with fondant butterflies.
It has both edible gold and silver for color and is served in a Baccarat crystal bowl. C’mon… Treat yourself. You’re worth it.
