These Aloe Pants Help Moisturize Your Legs!

Aloe vera is known for its healing benefits and it’s used in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical and food industries for them. You’ve probably used Aloe vera after sun gel to soothe sun soaked skin, but you’ve probably never heard of this use for the plant before: clothing.

Yes, Aloe vera clothing is a thing and we can thank the brand Alex and Trahanas for introducing us to it. Company founders Alex Heard and Heleena Trahanas discovered a niche variety of linen in northern Italy that’s blended with Aloe vera and they’re putting it to use in a new line.

The Australian company is releasing dresses, shirts, pants, and throws made from the luxurious blend of Aloe vera infused linen. It’s created with a new technique that applies the gel at the finishing stage. “As the fabric comes into contact with the skin it releases its properties,” Alex and Trahanas explains. “The Aloe vera softens the yarn making it less crushed.”

The cool thing about Aloe is that the plant is packed with powerful antioxidants that can help stop the growth of certain bacteria that cause infections in people. Studies have shown Aloe vera can cut the healing time for burns by days, and it can soften skin, so will you get those benefits from wearing these pants? “You will definitely notice the softer feel on your skin,” the designers say. Of course, you’ll have to shell out $420 for the trousers first to find out for yourself.
