Kids Surprise Their Dad With The Car He Had To Give Away!

When his wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and needed surgery, Wesley Ryan didn’t hesitate to do what he could to help. Even if that meant selling his beloved 1993 Ford Mustang, which he called Christine, after the movie of the same name. But getting rid of that car “tore my dad into pieces,” his daughter, Jeni, explains.

Now that Jeni and her brother, Jake, are adults, they realize just how much their father sacrificed for their family, so they wanted to find a small way to make it up to him. And they decided to buy back the original Christine and surprise their devoted dad. They first tried to buy it two years ago, but it didn’t work out. Then Jake found it for sale again online and bought it.

The kids got their mom, who is now 13 years cancer-free, in on the plan to surprise Wesley. They blindfolded him and everything when they gave him Christine and he was thrilled to have his exact same car back - Jeni and Jake even matched the VIN number to be sure it was the real hot rod. A touching video Jake shared on Facebook shows just how much it means to him as he cries tears of joy and hugs his kids.
