Many people may have guessed what they’d get with Kanye West visiting the White House, but few could really have imagined what the world got. Among other things? West delivered a 10-minute monologue that covered everything from his love of President Trumpto prison reform and police community relations. Oh…and his hat. Kanye explained that the reason he loves wearing his “Make America Great Again” hat…is that it “makes him feel like Superman.”
In what can only be described as a “wild ride” press conference with the President in the Oval Office, West praised Trump and touched on a myriad of topics including:
the 13th Amendment
his sleep disorder
illegal guns
jobs
and strong male role models
In regards to the last election, Kanye then said he lovesHillary Clinton, but he then added "the campaign 'I'm with her' just didn't make me feel – as a guy ... it was something about this hat that made me feel like Superman."
West wasn’t alone in his visit – he was joined by NFL legend Jim Brown, who was also there to talk about prison reform. But much like President Trump, he was left pretty speechless by the entire event.
