For those who never got to see Amy Winehousein concert, there may soon be another option. The singer’s estate has teamed with BASE Hologram for an Amy Winehouse hologram tour, which is expected to kick off next fall.
The tour, which will raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation, is expected to feature “digitally remastered arrangements of [Winehouse’s] classics,” with the hologram “backed by a live band, singers and theatrical stagecraft.”
“This is a dream for us,” the singer’s father, Mitch, says. “To see her perform again is something special that really can’t be put into words. Our daughter’s music touched the lives of millions of people and it means everything that her legacy will continue in this innovative and groundbreaking way.”
