Congratulations are in order for Lady Gaga. The singer was honored this week at “Elle‘s” 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in Los Angeles, where she revealed to the world that she’s engaged. Gaga broke the news during her speech, when she thanked “my fiancé Christian,” aka Christian Carino.
Rumors of an engagement have been swirling since earlier this month, but this is the first confirmation of the news. But it sounds like we shouldn’t expect Gaga to reveal much else. Unlike her last engagement to Taylor Kinney, sources say Gaga has no intention of being so public with her relationship.
“She isn’t blasting this relationship and putting [it] out there like she might have in the past because of how things hurt with [ex-fiancé] Taylor Kinney,” a source tells Us Weekly. “She was so open about that relationship, with the public and her fans so she’s learned from that and has chosen to keep this happiness and healthy relationship to herself.”
