Simone Biles Makes History!

Sure, we all knew Simone Biles was amazing. But now? She’s officially in the history books as the first American – and the first woman in 30 years – to medal in all six events at the world gymnastics championships. And get this – she did it all while dealing with a kidney stone!

Biles wrapped up her performance Saturday at the championships in Qatar. And to remind you, she already has the most career world titles for a gymnast, male or female. This time, she took four golds at this event and said while she wished some of her performances could have been better, she's proud of the accomplishment.

“Just saying, I get to decide when I have a disappointing performance, not y’all,” she offered via Twitter. “Over a year out of the sport. Barely a year back in and my first big competition. I’m proud of myself!” Us, too. As for how she celebrated once back home in Texas? Pizza and Cinnabon.

To remind you, Biles announced plans to take a year off following the 2016 Olympics – and it was just about a year ago that she headed back into the gym. Now? She looks unstoppable as she looks ahead to the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
