A poll of members of Generation Z (ages 8 to 17) reveals that among things they find most embarrassing, they find things their parents do most embarassing, including:

• 25% tell people stories about me/ show pictures of me

• 21% act weird/be silly

• 20% think they're funny, but they're not

• 19% be overly protective

• 17% make me do things I don't want to do

• 15% fart

• 15% try to be cool or young

• 14% hug and kiss me

• 14% yell at me

• 13% tease me about boys/girls

• 10% be too loud

• 10% sing

• 10% dance

• 9% interact with my friends

• 9% hug and kiss each other

• 8% joke around too much

• 7% call me names I don't like

• 3% wear embarrassing clothes

• 2% drink too much

• 3% other

• 5% nothing
