Misha Jones, the 13-year-old Magothy River Middle School student will be taking his baking skills to the next level as a contestant on “Kids Baking Championship,” premiering Monday at 9PM EST.
He couldn’t tell us how he did on the show, but Duff Goldman, a judge on the show and head of Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, had kind things to say about Jones to the Capital Gazette!
“The thing that impressed me most about Misha was his thoughtfulness,” Goldman said.
“Baking demands that one be in the moment, and Misha was extraordinarily focused and really thought deeply about everything he did.”
Jones really wants to go to the Culinary Institute of America and open up a restaurant somewhere with some friends.
Jones encourage all kids to bake, no matter if they’re a boy or a girl because "it’s just so much fun."
