Here Is A McDonald's Ketchup Hack For Your Fries!

Nothing goes better with French fries than ketchup, but dealing with those pesky little packets from fast food restaurants can be messy and where to put the ketchup can be an issue as well. But one McDonald’s fan recently shared a hack for eating fries and it’s sparked a debate on social media.

Twitter user Today Years Old posted “Did y’all know the flap on your fries box actually has a purpose?” with a photo of a McDonald’s fries box, with the flap folded down, serving as a ketchup dipping station. The simple fold method impressed some in the Twitterverse who had never thought of this themselves, but others weren’t so sure.

One Twitter user asked the important question, “What if I get small fries? Where does the ketchup go then?

Others guess that the tall side of the box is actually supposed to keep workers from touching the hot fries with their fingers.

Another tweeted that putting the ketchup there could “accidentally catapult ketchup all over your nice clean shirt.”

And at least one person claims to have known about this for years, tweeting, “I can’t believe nobody knows this … I was like 10 when I figured this out.”
