Teen Is Giving Away Peanut Butter To Furloughed Workers!

Eric "Bean" McKay, a 15-year-old autistic boy from Woodbridge, won a lifetime's supply of peanut butter, and handed out jars to federal workers affected by the shutdown.

McKay loves Lidl’s peanut butter and claims to eat peanut butter sandwiches three times a day, according to his twitter!

After finishing 72 jars of peanut butter, Bean posted a photo of the empty jars. Lidl sent him 72 full jars and offered him a lifetime of peanut butter if he received 72,000 retweets of his post.

Well he succeeded and decided to give back to those struggling through this government shutdown.

With his father — a furloughed federal worker — at his side at the Lidl store in Dumfries, Va., Eric and his family gave away several peanut butter jars Jan. 23 to other workers furloughed during the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. Eric is planning another peanut butter giveaway Saturday.
