Store Giving Out Free Ice Cream During The Freezing Temps!

I'm a sucker for free ice cream but not sure I would risk hyperthermia for a free cone. That didn't stop one ice cream store in Wisconsin from continuing their 87-year-old tradition of giving away a free cone.

Mullen's Dairy Bar has been giving away the free ice cream when temperatures dip below -20 degrees Fahrenheit since it was founded in 1932. This annual event was created by the store's founder Frank Mullen and his sons soon after they opened the place. 

So far this year they've given away at least 1,250 single dip ice cream cones as temperature first dropped to dramatic lows through the region. Now they're doing it again as the polar vortex sweeps through dropping temps once again.
