Super Bowl Sunday is a HUGE day for eating. In fact, it is second only to Thanksgiving in terms of food consumption. Apparently that estimate is on the low side! Another study by Cornell University found that there are actually more calories consumed on Super Bowl Sunday than on Thanksgiving and even Christmas. That study revealed that Americans consumed more than 6,000 calories on Super Bowl Sunday.
