Study Finds, Being Beautiful and Doing Business Does Not Work!

Being beautiful may have its advantages but it may be a hindrance when it comes to business.

A study from Washington State University and the University of Colorado has discovered proof of something called the "femme fatale effect" – or fatal women effect.

Basically, it’s the belief that a very attractive woman is dangerous and will lead you astray. And when it comes to business, beautiful women are seen as less trustworthy and are more likely to be fired.

“Highly attractive women can be perceived as dangerous and that matters when we are assessing things like how much we trust them and whether we believe that what they are saying is truthful,” says lead author Leah Sheppard, assistant professor of management in the WSU Carson College of Business.
