Grocery Store's Campaign For Customers To Use Less Plastic Backfires!

The East-West Market in Vancouver, British Columbia may have outsmarted themselves in a recent effort to curb the use of plastic bags. The wanted to get people to start bringing their own reusable shopping bags to hold their groceries. So they designed plastic bags with messages too embarrassing to carry.

Some of the bags said

  • "Colon Care Co-op"
  • "Into the Weird Adult Video Emporium"
  • "Dr. Toews' Wart Ointment Wholesale"

Unfortunately, while hilarious, it's backfiring. They made them too good and now everyone wants a set of them.

Would these bags encourage you to buy reusable one? Comment below!
