Most Americans Have Not Made A New Friend In Years!

A new survey has found that the average American hasn’t made a new friend … in five years. And 45% of those surveyed said they find it hard to make new friends. Why? 42% said they have a hard time making friends because they’re shy. 33% say it’s because they’re not into the bar scene, and another third say it’s because most people already have their circle of friends, making it harder to join the group.
Other reasons given were family commitments (29%), not having hobbies that are conducive to making friends (28%), and moving to a new city (21%).
