You’ve blocked your ex on all platforms and you’re moving on, but all of a sudden, you’re starting to have dreams about them. What does it mean!? Is this your subconscious telling you to give it another shot?
Before you start texting your old flame, you should know dreams about your ex are totally normal. According to Clinical Psychologist Carla Marie Manly, dreams help us in “processing and filing information that has not been given attention during waking hours.” So what kind of dreams are you having?Here are some of the most common dreams about exes and what they could mean:
- Dreaming About An Ex Dying.No you didn’t gain psychic abilities. Dr. Manly says “this dream indicates that the dreamer is ready to let go of the ex. The attachment to the ex has died.”
- Dreaming AboutSleepingWith An Ex."In general, this may mean that you want to have a connection with your ex" says Dr. Manly. So maybe just slide into your exes DM’s with a “What’s Up!” instead of a “You Up?” to be safe.
- Dreaming About Fighting With An Ex.Manly says "fighting with an ex in a dream can be about resolving the vestiges of an actual fight with an ex.” Essentially, you're not done with an argument you’ve had with them, and your brain is trying to finish it.
