Another round of winter weather is hitting the most of the U.S. this weekend.
A winter storm is forecast to cover sections of the northern U.S. with ice and snow today and into the weekend, causing potentially dangerous travel conditions. Snow storms are expected in the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan, dumping as much as a foot in some places.
To the south, ice will be a problem from parts of New Mexico and the Texas Panhandle into Indiana and northwestern Ohio. Tomorrow, heavy snows will make their way into Pennsylvania, New York and large sections of New England.
The I-95 corridor is expected to see snow to to rain during the event. Some Northeast areas will see sleet and freezing rain while the Southeast will be hit with rain in already saturated regions.
