Boomers Clean Their Bathroom More Than Millennials

As a generation, we’ve given a lot of crap to the Boomers, so it’s time to give them a little credit where credit is due. Specifically, their toilets.

According to a new survey, millennials are twice as likely to clean our bathrooms only once a month. Meanwhile, a little over half of Americans say they give their washroom a wash once a week.No wonder all that stuff under our sink lasts until we move out.

And our generational lack of cleanliness doesn’t stop near the commode. We’re also lacking in the clean linen department. Boomers love clean sheets so much, half say them change them every week. Only 36% of millennials can say the same.

You may be saying it’s because we’re more environmentally conscious but our towel treatment might just say otherwise. It turns out 38% of us only dry off once or twice with a towel before it makes its way to the dirty pile.Sorry, Al Gore!

The study also broke things down by geography and awarded Hawaii the top spot of most dedicated cleaners. The average Aloha State resident is projected to spend a total of 138 days of their life doing washing chores. They also have the highest life expectancy in the US.Maybe the key to life to a toilet so clean you could eat off it!
