Security footage of a botched jewelry heist has now gone viral following the sentencing of one of the thieves to seven years in prison. The hilarity ensues when you watch as three men attempt to rob this store but allow the shopkeeper to lock herself in the bathroom and hit the panic button. That caused the storefront door to lock.
One of them realized there was a button that unlocked the door by the register and as one of the men hit the button, one left but allowed the door to close behind him. One of the two men remaining hit the button again while the other ran out the door and let it close and lock behind him. Eventually, the third man got out as well after a bystander opened up the door for him.
Only one of the men was caught because his face appeared on camera. He was the one sentenced while his two accomplices remain at large.
