Fenty Skin, Rihanna’s debut skincare line is officially launching (Friday, July 31st) and people are pretty excited about it. Pre-orders have started and there has been so much traffic on the website, some Twitter users say it’s crashed or had them waiting in line for hours. But before you can even shop for it, three initial products from the line are already being listed on sites like eBay for insane prices.
Resellers are gearing up for fans who won’t be able to get their hands on the items through the brand’s site and they’re charging quite a premium. Nothing in the Fenty Skin collection sells for more than $35, but the cleanser, toner/serum hybrid, and SPF moisturizer have been spotted online for as much as $550! Not only is this ridiculous, especially since the products have such affordable price points, there’s also a chance the stuff you buy online from resellers may not be the real thing.
Fenty Beauty has been a huge success and Fenty Skin is expected to be just as popular, which means the products will be in high demand. But even though the skincare line will be selling out fast, you’re probably better off being patient than opting for the resale route.
