Most people like having a clean home, and having one is even more important in this day and age. But while we may like having a clean home, not many people actually like doing the cleaning, and a new study reveals most people have at least one task they particularly hate.
A new survey finds:
- 88% of Americans admit to having at least one least-favorite cleaning task.
- 61% of folks say they’ve found ways to get out of doing this least favorite task.
- 25% have simply ignored it.
- 18% have delegated it to a family member or housemate.
- 4% have actually gotten out of it by moving to a new home.
- 1% say they absolutely never do it.
- 43% of people say they’d rather go to the dentist than handle this least-favorite cleaning task.
- 41% would rather wait at the DMV than do it.
- When asked to compare their least favorite task to a person, 33% likened it to a scam caller.
