MD Firefighter Is Raising Awareness for Breast Cancer in a Pink Fire Truck

October kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Marshall Moneymaker, known as the pink fireman, says all this pink is his way of honoring his three sisters. You may see him driving around in his pink firetruck known as Vicky!

Every time he steps into his custom-made pink fire suit, he is on a grassroots mission to help breast cancer patients and their families. In the last decade For 3 Sisters has donated $600,000 worth of products and assistance to 300 patients.

Compassion and service comes naturally to Moneymaker, who was a career firefighter. He spent 32 years on the front lines in Bethesda.

Kids can't stay away from the bright pink truck, which lets Moneymaker and his team talk to the moms and caregivers about mammograms and self-exams. His three sisters driving him every step of the way.

We share a feel-good story for our segment Make Your Monday every Monday at 7:40!
