Chilli's Family Checked Out a Halloween Light Show Near Her Neighborhood.

When I was growing up, one of my favorite Halloween traditions (besides trick-or-treating with friends) was watching the Vienna Halloween Parade down Maple Avenue. I'm happy to report that parade still exists. What did NOT exist when I was younger are Halloween light shows. People actually decorate their homes with thousands of lights and then program them to music! Neighbors can listen along in their cars to a designated station. We are lucky enough to live within walking distance to the Ni family. They put together one of the best light shows around...not just for Halloween...but also for Christmas.

We started taking Donato to their light show a couple of years ago. Earlier this week, a bunch of families from our cul-de-sac walked to the house together. We sat on the sidewalk and watched the entire 30-minute display. I know this isn't the only home in the DMV that does this sort of thing. If you know of others that are worth checking out, please leave a comment below.
