One way to get the entire Internet to hate you is by having any tasteless tweets in your past. Cancel culture is alive and well and no one is safe — whether it’s A-list celebrities or someone who went viral off one tweet.
To avoid getting canceled, you can use a third-party website like TweetDelete since Twitter only allows you to delete one tweet at a time.
- TweetDelete has the option to delete up to 3,2000 recent tweets at a time. You can even set it up to automatically delete tweets after so much time.
- If you’re looking to rid your TL of a specific word or phrase you can delete specifics by filling out the “only tweets containing this word/phrase” form.
It’s worth taking time to “spring clean” our digital lives. In addition to cleaning out your inbox and deleting old text messages, take time to clean up your social media profiles as well. You never know when a potential employer or date could be snooping through your old public content.
