The Top Fast-Food Chains With The Highest Quality Takeout

Since the start of the pandemic, takeout food orders have skyrocketed and customers are more discerning about the quality of their food. Market research firm Dataessential and Nation’s Restaurant News teamed up to select the 7 fast-food chains that have the highest quality takeout food and here are the results:

  • Chick-fil-A – 82% of people said that Chick-fil-A always offered top-quality food and their always-busy drive-thrus confirm it. One Redditor commented that Chick-fil-A is “an amazing fast-food company [with] great consistent food quality.”
  • In-N-Out Burger – customers ding this chain for their fries but the burgers score high for quality and price with 78% of respondents rating this chain favorably.
  • Jersey Mike’s Subs – with 74% of people giving Jersey Mike’s a high rating, consistency of the food was the main comment from customers with one Reddit sandwich fan saying that the chain offers the “best mass-produced franchise deli type sandwiches [that are] comparable to an average local deli.”
  • 4Five Guys – despite their high prices and sometimes slow service, 77% of people said that Five Guys offers the best burgers of any fast-food chain in America.
  • Habit Burger Grill – Habit offers char-grilled burgers and has won numerous awards throughout the years from Consumer ReportsUSA Today and others despite the fact that they only have locations in a few states. 73% of customers rated their burgers, sandwiches, fries, and onion rings high on their lists.
  • 6MOD Pizza – 72% of customers said that the pizza here was tasty and affordable with one Redditor commenting “I think it’s one of the best chain food places period.”
  • Raising Canes – this chain which specialized in chicken fingers gets high marks from customers with 72% giving a favorable rating. It’s quickly becoming a competitor to Chick-fil-A and a taste test conducted by an Insider preferred the chicken and sauce of Raising Canes higher than Chick-fil-A. It’s also been called the “fastest-growing chicken chain” in the U.S.
