As the technology becomes more sophisticated, CNN has been exploring the potential benefits and risks of using digital replicas of voices for news reporting and other applications.
Recently, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper made headlines when he announced that he had worked with a team of experts to create a digital clone of his voice that could be used even after he retires. The clone, which was created using advanced AI algorithms, sounds almost identical to Anderson's real voice, and can be used to record news reports, podcasts, and other content.
Despite the concerns, The network has already started using digital voice clones in some of its programmings and is likely to continue to experiment with the technology as it evolves.
