MYM: People Shave Their Heads To Raise Money For Childhood Cancer Research

Volunteers let go f their locks on Sunday to help St. Baldrick’s Foundation raise money for childhood cancer research.

The event allows people to become a sponsored “shavee.” The goal? Raise money and awareness about childhood cancer and speed the search for a cure, according to St. Baldrick’s website.

The goal for the event was to raise $25,000! And thanks to generous donations the organization raised over $40,000!

To learn more about childhood cancer and donate to the cause, please visit the St. Baldrick’s website.

We share a feel-good story that is guaranteed to Make Your Monday every Monday at 7:40A.
