Do you have friends who get to enjoy the spring while you're sneezing, wheezing, and rubbing your itchy eyes? Well, they may be joining you and all other allergy sufferers before they know it. According to the CDC, more Americans are complaining of seasonal allergies, even those who have never suffered before. Allergists across the country say they have been treating more and more first-time allergy sufferers who have never had a problem in the past, and experts believe they have climate change to thank for this horrible, unexpected gift. Over the past several years, a rise in the Earth's temperature has caused longer pollen seasons and higher pollen counts, which is resulting in a "pollen storm." It's estimated that a quarter of Americans now suffer from seasonal allergies.
