A childcare worker named Hayley Malinowski from Virginia has gained viral attention for sharing her hack to maximize the amount of food she receives from Chipotle Mexican Grill. The fast-casual chain confirmed that the hack is legitimate. Malinowski's method involves ordering a chicken burrito bowl with the standard amount of chicken and then adding extra servings of non-protein sides and toppings, all through the Chipotle app. She doesn't opt for extra protein to save money and typically spends $9.18 on her order. She places her order for pickup on the app and has successfully executed this hack at various Chipotle locations throughout Virginia.
In her viral TikTok video, Malinowski poured her extra side order into a plastic container, which she explained was to avoid mess and ensure the food stayed fresh. Chipotle confirmed that customers can indeed order extra sides and toppings without additional charges through the app or website, but there's a limit of three sides per entrée to avoid waste and maintain a smooth ordering experience. Exceptions like guacamole, queso blanco, side tortillas, and double protein selections incur extra charges.
Malinowski's hack demonstrates her preference for maximizing her meals while keeping costs down, and her method has garnered attention for its practicality and efficiency.
