People Are Getting High Tech Chips Implanted In Their Skin

As technology continues to improve, more and more people are getting high-tech chips implanted under their skin to start cars, unlock doors and get scanned through security.

Some of these chips are embedded in the fingers of the hand. Users just tap their fingers on readers instead of pulling out wallets and keys.

And those who are at the leading edge of this technology suggest that the implants still haven’t reached their full potential. As more and more people -- maybe? -- get used to the idea of having chips implanted under their skin, we'll see more and more gadgets put in place that can read the chips.
