The sound of constant chewing while eating Doritos can be a lot to listen to, but the brand has come up with a fix. They’ve created a new crunch-cancellation software, appropriately called Doritos Silent, that basically cancels out chewing sounds. It was designed for video game fans, so they can eat without disturbing other players, but anyone can use it.
The AI technology was made for Doritos, but developers say it works on other chips, crackers and raw vegetables, too. According to Dylan Fashbaugh, lead developer at Smooth Technology, the free Doritos Silent app "works on anything that accepts a microphone."
