#TRENDING - Music News (7/17): Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift + Cardi B

Congratulations to Ed Sheeran, who tops the Forbes magazine list of “highest earning solo artists.” Thanks in part to the success of the tour supporting his Divide album.

In the last 12 months, Sheeran brought home 110 million dollars. That’s more than Taylor Swift (80 million) and Beyoncé (60 million) or Jay-Z (76 million) and Katy Perry (83 million) and Adele (69 million).

Forbes ranked all the world’s entertainers. Topping the list is champion boxer Floyd Mayweather. Last year, he and MMA fighter Conor McGregor entered the boxing ring. The match brought in 550 million dollars. Conor lost but still earned 99 million. Floyd cashed a 285 million dollar paycheck.

George Clooney placed second with 239 million dollars, which is based on his sales of the Casamigos tequila company he co-owned with Rande Gerber. Kylie Jenner took the bronze among all entertainers. Forbes estimates she earned $166 million over the past 12 months.

Taylor Swift invited a very special guest backstage at her Philadelphia show.

Lexi Caviston shared on social media that she’s Taylor’s biggest fan and fighting an aggressive form of brain cancer. Six months ago, doctors found in Lexi a brain tumor the “size of three golf balls pushing down on her optic nerve." She lost sight in her left eye.

It’s the same type of tumor as Senator John McCain. So The View co-host Meghan McCain got involved in connecting Lexi with Taylor’s team. On Saturday night, Lexi got the meet & greet of a lifetime.

Lexi Instagrammed her deep hug with Taylor. She cribbed a Taylor lyric for the caption (quote) "Hold on to the memories. They will hold onto you." (FOX 29)

Cardi B could cake up off baby pictures of Kulture Kiari, but she values her privacy more.

TMZ reports that Bardi has received offers of $100,000 and higher to take and run the first pictures of her little girl. Though the couple hasn't ruled out the idea of selling the baby’s snapshots, it’s not a priority at the moment. Cardi and Offset are reportedly willing to consider selling the pictures, but only after their daughter is at least five or six months old.
