Okay – so you’ve never actually pulled the trigger and made out with someone you weren’t supposed to while you were in a relationship. But that doesn’t mean you’re not still kind of cheating on your boo. There are ways we can be shady these days that don’t involve actually having sex with someone else.
Here are some signs you might be micro-cheating:
- You have people listed as fake names in your phone.
- You haven’t deleted your old dating app profiles.
- You’ve had contact with an ex on social media.
- You’re really close with someone you’ve never introduced to your partner.
- You regularly like someone else’s posts on social media.
If you’ve found yourself guilty of any of these things, don’t worry just yet. You’re not actually cheating on your partner, and things could totally turn out fine. But a lot of these things can lead to actual cheating down the road. Be honest with your boo about your intentions with other people. You don’t want to get yourself into something super messy.
