WATCH: Weatherman RAILS against company wanting MORE CODE REDS, gets fired!

CODE RED FIRED!

After weatherman Joe Crain called out the owners of his television station for wanting more "CODE RED" weather alerts, the popular presenter was FIRED!

The station, WICS NewsChannel 20, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcasting, based out of suburban Baltimore, Maryland, issued a statement to defend their CODE RED alerts... but the statement issued by STEPHEN COLBERT... was clearly a bit better received...

"OH SNAP," said Colbert when declaring that "all is not well in the world of weather..."

As of now, Crain is still out of a job and the station is still using the CODE RED to, as Colbert said "scare people about the weather."

"Who would ever believe that the news media would use words like CODE RED and whatnot for reasons which are designed to scare, stimulate and evoke fear," said American Radio Presenter Toby Knapp from his iHeartRadio Studios this afternoon. "This is surely wrong. It gives credence to the idea that news... is fake. What are we to do now, scream out #FAKEWEATHER whenever we hear such mumbo-jumbo from the talking heads on television? I am dissapointed. This man should not have been fired for speaking the truth in a way to inform viewers. The truth should never be a terminable offense, and this man and his colleagues should immediately rise up, organize under the banner of @SAGAFTRA and demand better! He then could have invoked his Weingarten Rights and made this fight more fair."

It's not believed that Knapp has had a proper power nap as of press time.

"I wish the best of luck to this Joe Crain," he continued. "We are all one truthbomb away from getting the Crain treatment. We deserve better!"

And then, the sun came out, and Knapp then excused himself to "lounge by the pool for the afternoon."

It's unclear what that has to do with Crain or this story.
