A man in Andrews, Texas sued a bar - and WON $5.5 million - after claiming a restaurant was NEGLIGENT for serving him too much alcohol!
Daniel Rawls said in court he left the restaurant TRASHED and got into a fight with another dude in the parking lot. He ended up having some sort of serious brain injury out of the deal, according to the Houston Chronicle.
What is even more shocking here... is that the reason Rawls won the suit... is because the RESTAURANT's OWNER failed to respond to the lawsuit or show up in court!
The restaurant owner will have 30 days to appeal and you can be sure they will... in the meantime, Rawls, who has a history of being drunk in public and has been arrested twice for his booze issues... is probably dreaming of how he's going to spend his pending millions!
