At first, I was just going to leave this story alone.
Then, I got to thinking...
"Why are we seeing more and more examples of people treating others like this on flights?
At first, I wanted to believe it was because of the mental stress of all of this COVID. Clearly, it's not alcohol-related. They're not serving the booze on most flights anymore because of everything going on.
Then, I wanted to think maybe it's just being uncomfortable. I mean, look, these masks, they're not the most comfortable thing on the planet, but, they're needed - for now - to protect others from what YOU may be spreading which you can't see.
It would be easy to say mental health, too. Because I know we all have our issues, and I don't know what this guy was going through.
I don't know... there just seems to be a disconnect these days when it comes to kindness. Respect. Treating others the way you would want to be treated.
The golden rule. How did we forget what we were taught as kids?
I don't know.
Oh, one more thought...
WE LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE EVERYTHING CAN BE RECORDED! Seriously. Like, did you not think someone would pull out a camera and shoot some video of you acting like this?
