It goes without saying you shouldn't keep anything from a prospective employer when you are looking for a new job, and today, that includes your COVID-19 VACCINATION STATUS.
An August study by RESUME BUILDER talked to 1250 hiring managers - and found that 70 percent of those making the "YOU'RE HIRED" call are more likely to hire someone who indicates their vaccination status on their resume. One third of those managers say they automatically eliminate resumes which don't share that information... meaning that no matter what your job experience might have been or how "great" your resume may be, you aren't even getting a LOOK when it comes to a potential gig!
Now, it goes without saying - some people aren't fans of this - others say it's discriminatory, but others say it's a sign of honesty from a potential employee.
One thing we can all agree on: These continue to be interesting times...
