This report says some of the MILLIONS of COVID tests sent by the US GOVERNMENT to people around the country over the last few weeks... may not work!
Why?
Well it seems the deep freeze which gripped much of the nation over the last few weeks might have rendered the tests useless! The at-home tests - made by multiple brands - all have to be stored between certain temperatures, and it's unclear if those measures were followed by the Postal Service at multiple points in the shipping process. Also, if a recipient has an outdoor mailbox, and the strips sat outside for an extended amount of time, this could also lead to false responses by the tests.
