Viewing a date you met off of Tinder or Hinge as “disposable” sounds worse than it actually is. In reality, we’re all disposable – partners, friends, colleagues, etc.! We always have options too. Understanding this saves us from any potential toxic relationships we may find ourselves in all because we convinced ourselves that person was “irreplaceable.”
The common criticism of “disposable dating” is that dating apps make it less likely Gen Z and millennials will settle down compared to their parents. But is that necessarily a bad thing? Here’s how disposable dating can be good.
