Want to go back to the office? You’re not alone – and corporate recruiter Jeremy Bell has some ideas on things companies can do to get workers out of their jammy pants and back into the cubicle.
Such as:
· Company-paid commuter passes, parking passes, and gas cards.
· Free lunch daily, and unlimited snacks and drinks.
· Expense reimbursement for business clothes (or no dress code)
· Company-paid childcare.
· Freedom for employees to leave at any time to pick up their kids, go to the doctor, or some other valid reason.
· An open-door policy when it comes to bringing children and pets into the office.
· A private office for each employee.
· Free access to a gym and showers.
· Flexible arrival times when it comes to weather or traffic delays.
Of course, if workers are doing their thing from home and their goals are still being met, that’s a hard sell anyway. That said, how likely is it your company would do any of these things, and are any of them more appealing than a four-day work week?
